I already know what I'm going to say the winning negative event of today is... definitely the helpless situation I was put in after I got out of the shower. I went in my room and shut the door to get dressed. Completely normal situation right? But no... I forgot that earlier that morning, my mother had opened the door while I was sleeping to look for Jingles, the cat. Somehow, the doorknob on the inside of my room fell off.
So there I am, knocking on my own door... from inside my room..... trying to get the attention of my parents located somewhere else in the house to release me from my jail cell.
It took about 2 minutes for my mother to come upstairs to my cries of "HELP!! MOM! DAD!!" but at least she responded! After she let me out I saw my dad nonchalantly stroll out of the bathroom. Thanks a lot!
Now the good part... I might have to say the best part of today/most entertaining/put me in the best mood was seeing two of my friends go completely all-out doing impersonations of old ladies with brooklyn accents complaining about Target. It was incredibly weirdly hysterical and I can't even come close to doing it justice if I try to describe it.
"I didn't even have shoes! I was lucky to even have paper bags on my feet..."
So today's bad was not so bad.

still deciding what to do with this
I was thinking maybe I might use this blog to document the best part of my day or whatever made me happy because I use my livejournal to complain too much. Then I realized I like complaining and would probably have a hard time leaving it out... so maybe i'll write about one good thing vs. one bad thing each time. and decide on a winner. that might be fun to do.
